The socioeconomic digital divide is the disparity of access to technology that occurs between the different socioeconomic classes.
Who Does it Affect the Most?
This disparity affects individuals who are a part of socioeconomic classes that bring in lower amounts of yearly income. There is a direct correlation with the amount of income individuals bring in and the amount of technology that they have available to them. Due to this disparity both adults’ and children's futures are put at risk causing the gap to increase.
